Find the car. Check the car. Close without dealer theater.

Private sourcing for buyers who already know the model they want. Hypercars, limited supercars, and blue chip classics. The search starts from your brief, not from what is sitting on a lot this week.

What We Do

Acquisition Desk

Sourcing
Private Search

Hunt the specific year, model, options, and condition you want across private sellers, estate situations, and off market cars that never hit a public listing.

Diligence
Before purchase Checks

Paint meter, structure, service history, title, and comps. If the paper and the metal disagree, we walk.

Deal
Negotiation & Paper

Negotiate on condition and comps, keep the paperwork clean, and coordinate transport when the deal is real.

Sell side
Placement

Selling or placing a serious car? We can run a quiet search for the right buyer instead of dumping it on a public board first.

The Practice

Look at the Metal

Bears Exotics is private vehicle sourcing under the Bears brand. Same standard as the watches and the rest of the portfolio: look at the thing, read the history, walk away if the story does not match the metal.

This is not a dealer floor and not a rental desk. Serious buyers and sellers only. If a car is wrong for you, we say so. If a deal needs a specialist to finish, we route it so the car still gets done right.

Why Private Search

Start from the Brief

A franchise dealer selling a high dollar exotic has one job: move what they have, at a margin that works for the store. Floor plan costs and commission plans do not care whether that car is the right one for you.

Private search flips the order. You set the specification. We look for cars that match it, including quiet sales that never appear on public boards. Condition, provenance, options, and timing set the price, not a sticker plus pack.

When two cars look the same on paper and one is worth tens of thousands more in the real market, the difference is almost always documentation, color and options, and whether the seller knows the comps. That is the work.

Due Diligence

Before purchase: What We Check

On a car worth real money, diligence is not a ten minute walkaround. Paint meter readings across panels catch prior bodywork that a clean title report will not show. Structure matters as much as cosmetics: undercarriage, floor pans, firewall, rockers, and seams that only fail after a hard hit.

Mechanically we care about the expensive systems: clutch and dual clutch wear, cooling, carbon ceramic brakes, tires, and suspension. An 8,000 mile car with track worn rubber is a different machine than the same car with road only wear.

If the metal and the story disagree, we do not clear the car. Walking is part of the job.

The Category

What We Mean by Exotic

"Exotic" gets used to dress up ordinary sport coupes. Here it means limited production, performance outside the normal dealer aisle, and ownership that forces deliberate choices on tires, service, storage, and insurance. A Porsche 911 GT3 RS with a high revving natural aspirated engine and a manual qualifies. A loaded Carrera S usually does not.

Hypercars and true limited builds sit at the top of the stack. Classics and icons are a different game: provenance, storage, and agreed value insurance matter as much as lap times. We work both, with the brief and the diligence standard matched to the category.
